6. Google-Analytics / User analysis to improve the website

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereafter "Google", on our >COMPENDIUM VASCULAR ANOMALIES< page. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" (see 1.2.), These are text files that are stored on your computer and thereby allow an analysis of the use of the website by you.

The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America and stored there.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google will also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
Google does not claim to link your IP address to other data provided by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of our website.

Google also offers a deactivation add-on for the most popular browsers, giving you more control over what Google collects about the sites you visit. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that no website visit information should be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, Google Analytics' opt-out browser add-on does not prevent information from being passed to us or any other web analytics services we may use. Further information on the installation of the browser add-on is available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

If you visit our site via a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you must instead click this link to prevent Google Analytics tracking within this website in the future. This is also possible as an alternative to the above browser add-on. Clicking on the link places an opt-out cookie in your browser that is valid only for that browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so you will have to click the link again.

For more information, visit http://www.google.com/privacy.html

By agreeing to the use of cookies, you agree to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

7. SAFETY

The GISVA e.V. points out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. in the case of communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.

The use of contact information published by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly excluded. The same applies to contact details of our authors and members. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited promotional information, such as spam e-mails.

8. Links

Links from our website to other internet sites are not subject to this privacy policy. We do our best to ensure that all links used on our app meet our requirements. However, we have no authority over the content of these sites and cannot guarantee that they will meet our privacy standards. Therefore, we advise you to check the privacy policies of the pages you visit.
